Student Affairs Department is a department to administrate the students' affairs. Under the leadership of the party committee and executives, it follows the guidance of Deng Xiaoping theory and the important thoughts of the "Three Represents", carries out the concept of people-oriented and students' education-centered with an eye to talents cultivation and student service, only in this way can the aim and the substantial result of the education of ideology and politics be realized, the attraction and appeal of the characteristic and brand-making campus culture be enhanced. It also promotes quality-oriented education by creating good atmosphere and offering better service for students' growth.
Main responsibilities: in charge of the ideological and political education, mental health education, comprehensive quality education, student merits and punishments, student finance assistance, work-study programs for students and routine works such as “giving advice; giving directions; supervising and urging; inspecting; coordinating; serving; educating and administrating” so as to exercise macro regulation, control and management of each college's students affairs. Furthermore, it often does researches in the state of mind and real demand of all kinds of students giving some creative comments and the suggestions for setting up overall goals of our school. It is also responsible for the arrangement,organizing and coordination in night watching of all dormitories in our school, and sometimes it has to handle the incidents in dormitories. In the end, it has the responsibilities of supplying special trainings for students' growth in order to improve their self-awareness in success.
